Transformation of a High School Wrestler

This video is a compilation of the training of Mike Testen, one of my wrestlers.  I have a TON more footage and will be making some more videos.

I am very proud of Mike as he has been relentless with his training.  Very consistent and very intense.

You can see I utilized the movements and templates from Combat Core and Blunt Force Trauma throughout his training and adjusted them as he progressed.

His season is just starting this week. His goal is to have a great year and go as far as he can. He definitely deserves whatever success he gets.

Great training compilation. 16 lbs of MM in 90 days is remarkable progress. Did you have any influence with his diet Jim? Also, how thick is that rope you were using 1.5″?

  9. Jim Smith Says:
    December 8th, 2008 at 4:48 pm

The only influence on the diet was to add more meals during the day. He was only eating 3 times a day and we had to get him to start eating more frequently.

The rope for the Power Slams was 1.5, the rope for the cage climbs was 2.0.

Great video Jim, very impressive. He should be throwing the other kids around with ease! See you soon

Can we have a breakdown of his diet? Those are phenomenal results in a short amount of time. Nice work!!!!

That vid was RIDICULOUS!!! The training was on point with power movements and flexibility, very nicely done. He is going to be killin it in his matches, and that rope climb on the cage was vicious … keep it up.
