Holy Cow – 188 Pages

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

“Holy Cow! 188 pages. That is pretty awesome! I wasn’t really expecting such a thorough resource. Very nice job.”

That’s the response I got after sending the Nail Bending eBook to someone this week.

That’s right – The Nail Bending eBook is 188 pages of instruction. You can rest assured that if you buy a product from Diesel Crew, you are getting your money’s worth, plus some!

I’ve been where you are. You buy an ebook product for like $50 only to find out that you just paid a buck a page and you already knew most of the stuff in it.

That won’t happen with the Nail Bending eBook. In it, you will find out how to bend a variety of pieces of steel – nails, bolts, and stock; you will find out how to wrap the steel so you don’t puncture yourself; you will find out how to ramp-up into a bending program without getting hurt from cumulative trauma. You will know how to climb to the top of the steel bending ladder.

And all of this for just $39.97. A safe investment and you’ll be learning to do cool sh*t.

Check out the Nail Bending eBook.

Video: Thumbless Gripper Closes

Thursday, May 14th, 2009

gripper

I have been trying many new things my gripper training recently, trying to spur some gains. Here is a short run down of things I have been trying:

Gripper drop sets – I make an attempt at a goal gripper and then immediately do a hold for time with a much lighter one.

Continuous handle cutting – I cut a gripper handle for beyond-the-range closes and every time I close it I shave more off.

Thumbless gripper closes – I attempt to close the gripper without assistance from my thumb.

I have never heard anyone speak about this type of close before, so I thought I would make a video to illustrate the concept.

I utilize my thumbs a great deal with gripper closes. I think this technique is going to help me out because my fingers are forced to put in the extra work.

Incidentally, all three of these techniques make me feel it big time in my last two fingers. I also encourage everyone to try the drop sets – they give you a huge forearm pump!

All the best in your training,

Hammering Strength into the Wrists

Intensity on the Rugby Field

Intensity on the Rugby Field

For too many athletes, wrist training means sitting down on a bench and hitting some wrist curls – WASTE OF TIME!!!

With baseball season about to start, I’ll show you just how easy it is to train the wrist from all angles effectively and efficiently.

Excerpt:

…If the wrists are weak, the athlete will not be able to project full force with the implement of his or her sport, and will not have 100% control. Weak wrists in baseball could cause the batter to not be able to check the swing when he realizes the pitch is a ball…

I Don’t Know What to Say, Really…

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

That’s the first line of this video clip. And that was my initial thought when I saw it featured in my Recommended Videos when I logged onto YouTube, clicked on it, and saw the views it’s gotten – over 37,000! Awesome!

Lots of chilling moments in this clip – Grip Feats, PR’s, and just plain sick, raw, powerful training. Check it out:
