One of the things we love doing at Diesel Crew is feats of strength, especially feats of grip strength. Tearing phone books, bending steel and ripping decks of cards is our Friday night.

A couple weeks back I blogged about how I was going to start taping my workouts and posting them to YouTube so that I could get help from you all and so that I could spread the word about Grip and Strongman training.

So I had to let you all know that I was able to accomplish something HUGE in my Grip training last night.
Just posted a new article on StraightToTheBar.com – Hammering Strength into the Wrists Part Two. Sledge hammers are awesome for working the hands, wrists, and overall lower arms. Believe me, there are some exercises in this article that are going to give you indestructible wrists. I shot the footage several days ago, and I am still feeling it.

Several athletes gave it a try levering the giant wooden hammer that Scott George built from a hammer handle and a huge block of wood (felt like half a tree) following the Gripmas Carol Grip Contest.
