Great Shoulder Mobility Tip from Steve Cotter
Found this at Conditioning Research and again on STTB.com. It is a shoulder mobility tip from Steve Cotter and it really works. I’ve been doing it for the last couple days and it is really helping not only with my shoulders but also my elbows and wrists. Check it out!

This looks like a great exercise and I want to do it, but I somehow injured my rotator cuff and I need something in between or some suggestions on working up to the full rotation. I’ve been dealing with this for about a year now and just had an MRI to show there is no tear. I had physical therapy and got some better range of motion, but not complete. As you may know, this can be a very painful condition and can take a long time to heal. Still, I’m bookmarking this so I can hopefully eventually be able to do it!

Anne,
I have a pretty comprehensive shoulder rehab on youtube, pending your doctor’s suggestion, you could try it for a while.

This looks great. I could see Scott Sonnon using this movement in one of his joint mobility progressions.
I would love to add this to a warm-up progression. What other movements would complement this drill as part of a warm-up or joint mobility program?

Jim,
Thank you for the link. It has some great exercises and sorry for being picky, but I wish there was some kind of voice over or written instruction along with it. Still, I do appreciate the info.
